Host and SBDC director, Kelly Bearden discusses changes to the EIDL program including the new “Supplemental Targeted Advance” announced by the Small Business Administration April 23. The $5 billion in grants will be issued to small businesses hardest hit by the pandemic. 

Details of the new $28.6 billion Restaurant Revitalization Fund [RRF] soon to open are also covered. In addition to restaurants, the grant program is open to bakeries, bars, brewpubs and a variety many other food and beverage businesses who may be able to receive up to $10 million in funds equal to their pandemic-related lost revenue.  

Additional topics include updates on the 2021 Paycheck Protection Program, SBA Shuttered Venue Operators Grant Program, CA Relief Grant, Targeted EIDL Advance, the Bakersfield ReStart Loan-to-Grant Program and more.
