On this week’s free SBDC webinar, host and director, Kelly Bearden will be joined by Keith Brice, President of Mid State Development, and Frank Gallegos, Executive Director of Cen Cal Business Finance Group in Fresno. They will discuss details of the Small Business Administration’s fixed asset 504 loan program, and the difference in interest rates between 504 loans in the 7 percent range compared to more traditional SBA guaranteed loan rates in the lower teens. 
 
Economist Mark Evans, an emeritus professor from CSUB will take a look at improving budgetary politics and what the implications would be for the economy. 
 
The webinar will begin with Bearden providing an update on the Corporate Transparency Act set to take effect Jan. 1, 2024, and Central California weather-related disaster relief programs ending Dec. 31. 
 
Questions from attendees will be taken.
