A close look at how to apply for the Paycheck Protection Program and details on the Restaurant Revitalization Fund are among topics of this week’s free webinar presented by the Small Business Development Center at CSU Bakersfield.

Host and SBDC director, Kelly Bearden takes a detailed look at the 2021 PPP application process and other details with an eye that funds may run out before the May 31 deadline. The SBA has already approved more than 80 percent of the $284.5 billion forgivable loan program.

Other webinar topics include the Small Business Administration’s new $28.6 billion Restaurant Revitalization Fund soon to open, Targeted EIDL Advance, and Shuttered Venue Operators Grant Program, plus updates on round 6 of the California Relief Grant, the Bakersfield ReStart Loan-to-Grant Program and more.

This is the 57th in the weekly “Webinar Wednesday” series that provides pandemic relief updates on available federal, state, and local funding options, tax credit programs, employee programs, and other opportunities helpful to employers and business owners.

The SBDC is open for free one-on-one consulting to help small business owners with the Paycheck Protection Program, Targeted EIDL Advance, California Relief Grant and other government pandemic assistance programs. New and existing businesses can click here for more information.
