Host and SBDC director, Kelly Bearden will be joined by Assistant Director, Helle Petersen, of the Water, Energy and Technology Center (WET Center) at Fresno State. They will discuss how the Wet Center provides opportunities for entrepreneurs and businesses that focus on water, energy and agricultural technology. The support is given through a wide variety of programs, services, assistance from industry and academic professionals, and funding.

CSU Bakersfield is one of seven designated BlueTechValley cluster hubs, one of WET Center’s programs to be discussed in the webinar. Collectively, the hubs serve throughout 39 counties covering two-thirds of California.

Additional updates will include the Economic Injury Disaster Loan Program [EIDL], supplemental and targeted EIDL, the final round of the California Relief Grant program, PPP loan forgiveness and appeals processes, and more.

Questions from attendees will be taken.

This marks the 88th in the weekly “Webinar Wednesday” series that provides reopening and current pandemic relief updates on available federal, state, and local funding options, tax credit programs, employee programs, and other opportunities helpful to employers and business owners.
